Andes Description
In the heart of Colombia, where mountains shape the land and spirit, lies the Andes—a place where adventure is a way of life. It’s here that we crafted the Andes Brevet Bike, designed for those who seek more than just a ride, but an endless journey.
The design of this bike had very specific targets in mind: absolute comfort, durability, and maximum adaptability for cargo capacity. We designed a steel frame and fork using a very refined selection of tubing that addresses the specific needs of the discipline. The 34mm headtube paired with skinny, long, tapered chainstays provides absolute smoothness. The main triangle features round Columbus Spirit tubing in a smaller diameter and slightly thicker wall thickness, ensuring excellent compliance and long-term durability. The frame also has a T47 bottom bracket that provides ample space for dynamo routing. Gear shifting housing and hydraulic lines are left exposed, ensuring easy servicing and roadside repairs.
The custom fork, made in collaboration with Angel-Bicycles, complements the bike’s design, providing excellent vibration dampening and the necessary mounts for Brevet riding. The result is a bike that seamlessly integrates everything you need for the longest rides imaginable.
The result is a platform that beautifully integrates everything you need for the longest rides imaginable. Nothing is left out, and nothing else is needed.
Why Steel
