How to Buy Your Scarab

Ordering your Scarab is a straightforward process centered on collaboration, clarity, and craftsmanship.

Together, we will define:

Geometry and fit — Component selection — Paint concept 
 
If you are ready, just Book a call with us to briefly guide you about those design aspects; and If we are on the same page, we will require you to make a deposit which will secures your spot in our production queue and kicks off the design process.

Step 1: Order creation

After deposit confirmation, we will start working with you on the following topics

• Geometry and fit — through a fitting conversation, we determine whether a custom geometry is required or if one of our existing designs already suits you perfectly
• Component selection — tailored to your ride preferences and goals
• Paint concept — a reflection of your style and story
  

Step 2: Final Details

When your frame is next in line, we finalize all details and confirm the total cost. At this point, a 50 percent payment is required before we begin fabrication.

Step 3: Frame Production

Your frame is handcrafted in our Colombian workshop. Standard production time is around five weeks. More intricate paint schemes may take longer.

Step 4: Assembly for Complete Bikes

If you ordered a complete bike, your frame will be shipped to our Miami office for final assembly. This typically adds one additional week before it ships to you.

We ship Scarabs worldwide. Here’s how it works.

United States
We operate through our own US company. There are no import duties or surprise fees.

• Framesets ship from Colombia with all duties prepaid
• Complete bikes are assembled in Miami and shipped domestically

  • Typical shipping cost is around $220, depending on your location and the insured value

Canada and Mexico

• Framesets ship from Colombia. Shipping is included in the final price.
• Complete bikes can ship from Colombia or Miami, depending on your preference and location

Other International Locations

• Framesets are shipped from Colombia with a shipping surcharge.

  • Asia: $200
• Complete bikes can ship from Colombia or Miami, depending on your preference and location. We will coordinate the best option with you during the build process

Pickup at the Factory
You are always welcome to collect your Scarab in person at our workshop in El Retiro, Colombia. It is the moment we love most.
