Paint
Paint is the most visible expression of a Scarab.
Not because it is decoration, but because it carries the identity of the rider and the hand of the maker. Every frame leaves our workshop with a finish that reflects a dialogue. Color, contrast, texture and proportion are explored together until the bicycle feels unmistakably yours.
Layers with intention
We do not approach paint as a list of options. Instead, we treat it as a process of exploration.
Colombia constantly reminds us that beauty often lives in unexpected places. A weathered wall. A mountain shadow. A hand-painted sign on a rural road. These moments shape the palette we work from. Our goal is not to follow trends, but to help you discover a finish that feels deeply personal.
The Design Process
Inspiration
We begin with conversation. References, places, objects, photographs, memories.
Anything that sparks a direction.
Exploration
Our design team develops digital concepts and refinements.
We test color relationships, textures, fades, and graphic balance until the frame begins to reveal its personality.
Realization
Once the design feels right, the frame enters the paint booth.
Layer by layer, the concept becomes physical.
A guide, not a menu
Over the years we have developed a number of paint concepts that serve as starting points for new ideas.
Rather than presenting them as fixed options, we gathered them into a design booklet. Think of it as a visual guide. Some riders choose one of these schemes. Others modify them. Many use them simply as inspiration.
Every project evolves through conversation.
Paint as an expression
We are not interested in fixing you into a predefined paint scheme, or in chasing trends.
Instead, we use our country as a source of inspiration, to move you beyond the standard and help you find meaning through color, texture, and art. Colombia does this to us every day, revealing beauty in the most minimal and unexpected details.
We understand this process can feel overwhelming. If it does, then we are doing it right. It means we’ve taken you beyond the safety of trendy colors and into a more intentional place.
We’re here to guide that conversation.
If you want to explore ideas, references, or emotions through paint, we’re always happy to talk.
