\The Colibrí Damping System (CDS) takes its name from the hummingbird, or colibrí in Spanish, a bird celebrated for its subtle, agile, and stylish flight. Inspired by the hovering, almost suspended grace of the hummingbird, and Colombia’s rich biodiversity as a paradise for these birds, the Colibrí system captures this feeling in every ride. It brings smoothness, balance, and agility to the rider’s experience, allowing you to glide effortlessly over any terrain.

Technically, the Colibrí system replaces the traditional seatpost and seat tube with a fully integrated carbon seatmast. While enhancing vertical damping to absorb vibrations and reduce fatigue on long rides, the Colibrí maintains the springlike responsiveness that steel is known for. This balance of comfort and performance, combined with a sleek, modern aesthetic, perfectly reflects Scarab’s commitment to providing a tailored, high-quality ride for each cyclist.

The Colibrí Damping System will be available across the entire lineup, with the exception of the Linea and Andes models.
