Bikes at MADE 2025
Aug 28, 2025
As it happens every year around this time, MADE 2025 took place last weekend. Over the years, this show has become a true symbol in the cycling world, not only for showcasing beautiful handcrafted bikes, but also as a celebration of making without restrictions.
MADE is where like minded brands and industry partners come together, yet it is also where our differences shine through. These differences reveal themselves in wild paint jobs, radical tube bends, 3D printed parts, and unconventional materials. But they are not just for show. Each detail is loaded with meaning, a statement about how to make bikes better. “Better” is of course highly subjective, and that is exactly what we love. The goal is not to make bikes better for every rider, but to make them better for each rider.
This year, we presented two bikes at MADE: a Santa Rosa CDS and a Darien. In many ways, they represented the opposite ends of our spectrum. The Santa Rosa is a bike built for speed, clean, fully integrated, a razor for the road. The Darien on the other hand is built for endurance, efficient, supremely comfortable, and ready for long distance adventures. Two very different bikes, for very different riders, yet both embody the same Scarab spirit: beauty in the eye of their owners, and in the eyes of everyone who saw them.

The Santa Rosa is our fast-road bike platform. It represents the evolution of steel and proves that steel-is-still a material absolutely capable of performing. The Santa Rosa was displayed at CADEX's booth, featuring a series of components that perfectly complemented the personality of the frame.

This Darien was displayed at Wolf Tooth's booth. This frameset was conceived as a do it all adventure bike. Something that would be agile and predictable on the technical sections, but that was quick in smoother terrain. The build displayed at MADE translated into exactly that. The geometry was tweaked for long days on the bike while maintaining an agile handling, perfect for mixed terrain.
