ANNIVERSARY SCARAB
This year marks a significant milestone for us as we celebrate our 5th Anniversary. We couldn’t have reached this point without the incredible support from our valued customers, friends, suppliers, and the cycling community.
Over the past few years, we’ve achieved great milestones and are proud to share them with you.
We’ve assembled an exceptional team that ensures top-tier advisory thought the process, select the best materials, craft dream framesets, handpaint them, and deliver worldwide seamlessly. We take pride in creating everything in-house.
Two years ago, we relocated our shop to a beautiful space that provides an even better atmosphere for inspiration and crafting beautiful bikes. This new location also allowed us to open a small shop where you can find a variety of SCARAB goodies. If you’re in the area, please swing by!
In these 5 years, we’ve developed a strong product lineup that guarantees the best fit for each rider. Our most recent additions are the Santa Rosa integrated road bike and the Darien (Hardtail MTB).
This journey has been amazing, and to celebrate, we hosted a series of incredible events with friends and industry partners last week.
On Thursday, we held a party at Vivero Tierranegra, a beautiful native plant nursery very close to our shop. The unique and natural atmosphere helped us showcase the history of the 5 special edition paint schemes released over the last 5 years.
To make this anniversary truly unforgettable, we unveiled our limited edition masterpiece – the ESCARABAJO. A homage to Colombian Cycling heritage.
On Friday, we had a Gravel Ride (El Cruce de Versalles): A thrilling adventure through scenic mountains connecting el Retiro with Montebello. The 67km gravel loop with only 14km of paved road guided us through different landscapes. A unique lunch awaited us at a beautiful coffee farm, where coffee was hand-roasted and served to the group of riders.
Saturday brought another exhilarating Gravel Ride (La Madera) with new friends and breathtaking views. This time, we tackled a challenging rocky surface that connected El Carmen the Viboral with La Unión. Despite the challenge, the beautiful rolling hills and campesina homes along the landscape delighted us.
We want to extend our gratitude for being part of this incredible journey with us. Your support has been fundamental in shaping SCARAB Cycles into what it is today.
