Materials

The Santa Rosa Esencia is crafted using Columbus Spirit ovalized steel tubing, chosen for its perfect balance of lightness, strength, and a reactive ride feel. Up front, it pairs with the ENVE In-Route Road fork, ensuring precision, stability, and smoothness where it matters most.
Craftsmanship
Made in El Retiro, Colombia, with the same care as our custom bikes.
Every Esencia frame follows the exact same process, hands, and attention to detail as our bespoke creations. Built by our local team of master builders and finished under the same rigorous quality controls — because true craftsmanship knows no shortcuts.
Paint
Every Scarab tells a story through its colors. For the Esencia line, we’ve designed a curated collection of four signature paint schemes, each available in five distinct color palettes. These designs are born from the landscapes, culture, and moods of Colombia — a way to carry a piece of our essence into your rides.
While these are predefined finishes, they follow the same artisanal process as our custom paintwork: every frame is hand-sprayed, layer by layer, in our workshop in El Retiro. No shortcuts, no decals — just pure craft.

Geometry
We’ve created a thoughtfully designed a run of seven preset sizes that cover the vast majority of riders. Each one reflects our deep experience fitting riders around the world, while staying true to the original spirit and ride feel of the Santa Rosa.
